Oct 2026 I've been doing a lot of research on this livestreaming thing. I think I've got the idea and recently shot a trailer. I'm putting the pieces in place. Marketing plan is on paper and now I've got to get this ms. ready for the editor. Focus grasshopper. Focus.

Sept 2026 This month has been all about the marketing plan. I've said forever, it's 10% writing and 90% marketing. I've got a plan to get 100 reviews before publication. But as everyone knows about the best laid plans. Anyway, you've got to have a plan. Hope is not a strategy. I've got an idea for live streaming, however you need a degree from MIT to learn OBS. Or atleast be under 30. I am neither. The idea for streaming is, if I can get a few reviewers, a few book clubs, a few book stores, a few writing groups, maybe a librarian or two, and maybe a few people from book fairs, that may be a good foundation. Anyway, book marketing is a full time job. 

Aug 2026 I moved to South Carolina and joined the South Carolina Writers Assn after a bad experience with Maryland Writers Assn. I felt there was little direction, no vision, and a lot of attitude witn Maryland Writers, so I resigned as chapter president. After joining SC writers and a critque group, I needed something to participate with. I pulled out an old Ms. I'd started years ago. I thought the plot was good but it wasn't well written and this would be a good time for rewrites.  In going through rewrites, I've also started writing a marketing plan. This business, and it is a business, is 10% writing and 90% marketing.
